Course Overview:
I would definitely recommend this course to all students interested on learning the beauty of Mathematics. If you take the class; you will witness the wonderful teaching style of Ms. Mosier. She makes the frighten function look like kindergarten exercises, and trust I am not a fan of Math, but she makes the things look easy. Nonetheless, you will have to study very hard in order to get a good grade, but if you fallow Ms.Mosier’s instruction you will have an amazing experience. You will realize that she is very strict and expect everyone to comply with the rules, but you will also notice the big and kind heart that she has. We all need a math teacher like Ms.Mosier in our life!
Course highlights:
This course was an amazing platform on the introduction of function and equation. You will learn all kind of graphs like: the quadratic, the logarithmic and the cubic function in a nice and simple way. The class itself is a constant review for the ACT’s and SAT’s because all the material that is taught represents a 40% of the math in these tests. So the class is a smart choice, you will get prepare for national examination at the same time you are creating the base for future courses like Pre-Calculus and AP Statistics.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
My advice for you is to pay careful attention to the class. Ms.Mosier explains every single exercise and then gives assignments and quizzes on the topic, so try to be always there. She announces the tests with plenty of time and then gives a review the same day of the examination. Ms. Mosier always leaves homework and is turn in the next class, with no excuses! But is a great course you should take it for sure!
