    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Anyone who wishes to succeed in a career within the medical field will fall in love with this class. It is an amazing course to introduce a student to topics such as diseases, the human body, medical cases, and procedures conducted within a hospital. This course definitely helps any student decide what they want to aspire in as they head to college and start the journey towards their future career.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course was learning CPR. We had a guest speaker visit our class and teach us the rules of CPR and the correct way to perform it. We even had hands-on training with life-size dummies to practice CPR. This was the coolest thing I had ever done in the class. We took the written CPR test and will soon take the physical test. By the end of this school year, I will be CPR certified.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The best thing to do is stay organized and have an open mind. We did take a lot of notes in the beginning of the year, so it is best to always have a good notebook to keep all the information organized and in one place. Be open to new experiences. I was a little nervous to practice CPR in front of my peers, but it was actually really fun. Everyone is in the same boat as you so do not feel nervous to do something you aren't used to. It will be more exciting than you might expect.
