    Carry around a lot of paper, pay attention and dont ever forget your calculator.

    Course Overview:

    Although she can be a tough teacher and sometimes her methods might seem unorthodox, she really covers all the bases and prepares you for higher level math courses.

    Course highlights:

    My favorite part of the course was the moment that I finally understood the Unit Circle, even though it took a couple tries, she never gave up on me.

    Advice for students:

    Put your questions up on the board when doing the homework check and even if you are not sure on how to solve the problem, if it is on the board try it.

    Course Overview:

    Mrs. Carrasco is a very talented teacher. She creates the lesson plans for the math department every year and it is obvious she knows the material inside and out. The structure of her classes make it easy for students to obtain the lesson information.

    Course highlights:

    I restudied information on basic trigonometric functions and logarithmic and exponential functions. She taught me the sine, cosine, and tangent graphs and how they move based on transformations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    You need to be organized and diligent in keeping your notes up to date and completing the appropriate homework at the right time. If you stay on task and keep your class materials neat, you will thrive.
