    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class for minds that like to be challenged. Chemistry is not one of the easier sciences, but if you are willing to put in the hours of study, it'll be worth it

    Course highlights:

I loved chemical bonds, in practice. The labs are the best, combining chemicals and seeing first hand what the reactions are, that's the highlight of the class to me. Hmm bonds in theory, not as interesting or exciting.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The best tip is to only open the can of worms that is chemistry if you have an honest interest in the subject. Chemistry is not a class that you want to go into if you're not completely invested in it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class subject itself is very interesting and being that Chemistry is usually a required course in college it's imperative that you gain prior knowledge.

    Course highlights:

To begin with, I learned that the basics of Chemistry were not that difficult as I thought they would be. On a more academic note, I learned a lot about the elements, the periodic table, and the mathematics that ties into Chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study concepts for quizzes and tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Surprisingly, I liked the class even though I did not think I'd comprehend the basics of Chemistry.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the periodic table elements and the relationships of things based on the groups and periods. I learned about the different types of elements, their valences and physical, chemical properties.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're ambitious take this class with AP Environmental because you can draw connections of both classes.
