    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor I had was very knowledgeable in the subject. This course were the beginnings of algebra and helped me gain a better understanding in the subject.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were a better understanding of a more intense course (Math 125). This course helped me with certain parts of algebra I did not fully understand at first.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed, you have to do homework and some more homework after that. If I wouldn't have done homework on a regular basis, I probably would have had a lot more trouble.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I honestly wouldn't recommend this course to a person, unless they are truly willing to dedicate time to study and utilize the school math resources. If you are a person who usually slacks when it comes to academic responsibility then don't take this course; because you will honestly struggle. You need to be responsible and own up to the task of making an effort to ask for help if needed.

    Course highlights:

You are the boss when it comes to your grade. Which means if you decide to not do the work, study, attend class, or participate on exam days then obviously you won't get a good grade. However if you decide to do your best and follow your professors instructions you will succeed in the class. Once you enter college, you can't blame the professor or classmates on the outcome of your grade, it all falls on you.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

In any course you take, if you have any difficulty, utilize the resources your school or college offers. The usual excuses such as, "it's too hard! So I'm not going to try", "If my teacher taught better, I'd do better", or "I don't have enough time", aren't legitimate and if you hold yourself back from making the effort to get help you need in a course then you will continue to struggle. So from my personal experience if I had to advise one thing it would be to use the tools given to you.
