Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I was very nervous to take a public speaking class because I absolutely hated public speaking. After taking the course, I feel so much more confident to speak in-front of people. Whether it's in-front of a class or one on one.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to stay calm and collected while giving a speak. I also learned how speaking is an art and the Chicano history behind it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask for help if you need it. Also practice your speech ahead of time, it's very helpful.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class, especially if you are a very shy person because the professor is very understanding and makes accommodations to anyone who asks. There are four speeches that are not demanding at all since the professor has clear grading criteria for them and gives good feedback as well.

    Course highlights:

Professor Faina emphasizes that his goal isn't to make his students great at public speaking, instead he simply wants his students to become better at it. I learned that public speaking isn't so terrifying after all, when prepared.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend students to not be afraid to talk to the professor if you are nervous about publically speaking. I also recommend that they do purchase the book or at least take good notes, it will really help when taking quizzes.
