    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is a great way to expand upon ones knowledge of the human body. I enjoyed learning about the 11 systems of the human body and getting hands on experience with cat dissections.

    Course highlights:

I had fun dissecting a cat because it allowed me to visualize what it would actually look like in a human. Overall, it was fun to learn new things daily about our bodies.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need work ethic, a positive attitude, and a strong gut. There is a lot of studying involved, often stressing the student to limits that were otherwise unknown. Also, a lot of kids cant take the sight of a cat being dissected so a strong gut is recommended.

    Course Overview:

Very tough elective course introducing anatomy in High School. It requires lots of memorization and comprehension of the subject. Its a fast paced course as well.

    Course highlights:

Great course to take if your planning on entering nursing, sports medicine, or athletic training.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Plan on this course taking up a lot of your study time. Don't take many AP classes when taking this class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is strenuous, but worth every minute. I wish I could have taken it every year in highschool. The teacher is great. The curriculum was interesting and pertains a future career relating to the human body.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part about the course was dissecting. I didn't think I was going to be able to do it, but I suprised myself. In dissecting, students get hands on experiences about bodies.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, you need to be willing to put in work. There needs to be an attempt to remain on top of things. The student needs to study in advance to the night before the test.
