    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for people who are ready to learn and are eager to take an AP class. AP US history with Mr.Hufstetler taught me how to properly study the things that I needed to know be successful in his class. The study techniques I used in his class not only were helpful then, but continue to be helpful in all of my classes.

    Course highlights:

I gained a new sense of what it means to actually study for a class and have to work to get an A grade. In APUSH, you have to put in the effort to make good grades and to understand the material being taught. One of my favorite memories in that class was when I made a 98 on my fourth unit test. I had worked and studied so hard and my hard work finally paid off.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be patient with yourself. If you are like me and have never really had to work for an A in a history class before, do not get frustrated. Take time to figure out what study habits work the best for you. Make flashcards one test, read the book over and over again another test. Explore all the options and use all of your resources to figure out what works the best for you.
