    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Basic introduction to higher level math. Work hard here and it will pay off in your other courses. Mathematics is a language, it takes some time, practice, and in time you will feel comfortable with it.

    Course highlights:

This course was a baseline for Calculus 1-3 which in turn will apply to your Physics courses and differential equations. Pre-Calculus becomes a tool box that you never leave behind. You get to see it all come together in differential equations.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the homework, ask questions, and get help from someone who can explain the methods to you. If you get stuck on a problem, move on, come back to it, or ask your professor later. Try to help others when they are struggling. Trying to explain the concepts to someone else reinforces your knowledge.
