Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Highly recommend it! It will help shy people a lot.

    Course highlights:

The professor got me out of my comfort zone and really helped my severely introverted self become more open and sociable.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to do the outline exactly the way she wants you to for the speeches and rehearse them. She will give you feedback before it's due as long as you have it ready.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course was easy and the professor really helped the students open up and feel free to communicate with each other. It introduced great public speaking skills and by the end of the term, everyone felt easy to present before the pubic.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the speeches, where every single student came up to the podium and presented something that was important to them. I learned how to overcome my fear of public speaking and realized that we all are humans and we all face the same challenges.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to practice your speeches a lot, and have little reliance on notes. Yet at the same time, the student must refrain from memorizing their speech in order to be more communicative during their presentation.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Sterk is a very strict teacher and a stickler for perfection; however, if you commit to the course material in your speeches, you will pass his class with flying colors and become his friend.

    Course highlights:

You learn how to give narrative, informal, persuasive and research based speeches all of which are at or exceed seven minutes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest that a future student makes a point of reading all of Professor Sterk's online course material and integrating what they learn into their speeches in an organized manner.
