Course Overview:
This is a course needed to be able to transfer to a UC or USC, and also it is great review and offers greater understanding of intermediate algebra for anyone who meets the prerequisites to take the course.
Course highlights:
At first I thought I didn't need this course and that I should have been placed in a higher course, but I realized that there were some topics from this subject that I hadn't mastered yet so it was very beneficial for me to review them, and learn them more in depth.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Never be absent, ever. It really is important to attend every meeting day because the professor's lectures consist of two chapters. Homework is also.important not just because its part of your grade but its the best way to study the chapters since you are practicing how to.solve the problems and if you then wrong, you learn what not to do.

Course Overview:
To be honest you need this course to graduate. I've taken this class and I've have never used any of the formulas that I've learned in my adult life. Maybe one day I will find myself in a situation where this information is useful but I haven't found myself in that situation yet.
Course highlights:
I really didn't gain anything from this course. I just did the work required to pass this class.
Hours per week:

Advice for students:
To go ahead and take it so you can obtain your degree. Unless you are going into a field where algebra is need on a daily bases then don't stress your self out about it.
