Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It helped us learn more about the different fields of engineering and the hands-on nature of the field.

    Course highlights:

We learned how to construct a robot, building it and then programming it through the computer.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard in the course. It's fun when you're passionate and experiment with the robot alongside your partner.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course because it gives you a very good guideline into what the course of engineering will be like - both inside and outside of school. It also guides students how to excel as a student, many of which lessons can be applied to everyday life. It sets up expectations of and from the students about the mechanical engineering field in a very realistic manner.

    Course highlights:

I loved when we built a robot and the balsa wood bridges. At first, it seemed very intimidating because I have no prior real experiences with anything even slightly similar to that (if you do not count Legos), but in the end, I was able to prove to myself that I can keep up with my classmates, and I might not be as mechanically-handicapped as I thought!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not skip reading any of the chapters, because the whole book provided valuable insights on how to excel in school by pointing out your weaknesses and methods on improving them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is not only a class where you learn the basics of engineering, as a student, you also get to learn how to build and program robots over the course.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the semester, the students learn how to identify and distinguish different fields of engineering, as well as information on them. We also discuss the importance of ethics in engineering.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise students to show up with a desire to work hard and not give up when the course becomes a little challenging. This class is no ordinary class, it requires constant listening and focusing as it can go by fast.
