Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I believe that if you are a student who loves dealing with algebraic approaches, trigonometry, and meticulus number solving, precalculus is the course for you. It can be challenging because you have to have a certain patience since all the concepts may not come as easily as some math concepts have in the past, However, one of the main reasons why I liked it was the drive of completing a challenge and that satisfying feeling of being able to identify and understand what is actually occurring.

    Course highlights:

The unit circle, radians and degrees, trigonemtric identities, verfifying identities, Finding missing angles/sides (AAS,SSS, etc), etc.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice! Even if your teacher assigns just 5 problems, do more to make sure that you FULLY undersand what is being taught. Precalculus is the kind of course where if math does ot come very easy to you you have to study. I know a lot of students do not correlate math with studying, but putting in the extra amount of work at home really helps. Make sure to do practice problems and please do not be afraid to ask questions because it is so easy to misunderstand what is being taught because there are so many details and numbers and a whole unit circle. Just relax. It will be okay :)

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Math is a subject that I have been struggling with my entire high school career Despite my previous outcomes with math, i looked at this year as a fresh start. My teacher not only told me that no is not an option but also showed a true passion of wanted each student to understand math.

    Course highlights:

Besides the standards we had to learn to graduate, I learned that math is not as difficult as it seems. I learned to take my time and be confident in myself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Come to the class prepared for a challenge but remain calm and commit to putting in time to practice.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to fellow students because the teacher makes the concepts easier to understand.

    Course highlights:

Although I was supposed to learn how to complete the square last year, the teacher briefly went over a more quick and effective way to go about this process. I learned about special triangles, matrices, the unit circle, trigonometric identities, and so much more. Overall, I enjoyed the course!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Enter this course with a positive mind and a will to learn mathematics. Do not become defeated by the course title. It is not difficult to pass. If you believe that you will need help based off of prior experience with a math course, seek help from the teacher and fellow peers (academic scholars).
