Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this math class because it gives students a chance to dig a little deeper and think. Math may be difficult sometimes, but it is a great thinking process for students, and in the real world you will have to think and it will be a process, so math is good for the brain.

    Course highlights:

What I gained from this class isn't only the math, equations etc, but I gained self confidence, and learned to believe in myself, that I can do any math problem if I put my mind to it .

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying is key in this subject! Make sure that you practice good study habits, and pay close attention to the teacher, and what she is discussing. Also make a great relationship with your peers and teacher, because when times get rough, you want to be able to have people to turn to for help, so that you can succeed. One last thing is to have CONFIDENCE ! Believe that you can do any problem, equation, anything. Good Luck!!!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it requires you to think more than any other math course. This course is about logic, observations, and experiments. If you are someone who appreciates a challenge for your mind, this course is for you.

    Course highlights:

I learned that every type of math is used in the real world. Whether it's statistics, algebra, or calculus. It's important to understand and master these courses in order to prepare for your future.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Never give up on something that may. Be difficult for you. Form study groups, get help from teachers, friends, and family, and believe in yourself. The outcome always comes out best.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Menczer is an amazing teacher. He cares for all of his students and tries to get to know them before they leave his class. He also actually teaches his students. He does not just give grades, you must earn every point and every 'A' you receive. He challenges his students and does not accept quitters.

    Course highlights:

As a freshman, I barely knew anyone. It is awkward coming from middle school transitioning to high school. Mr. Menczer made students feel welcomed. He taught us about system of equations that required a project. You had to make up your own test give it to another student and grade it. I enjoyed it because it required me to study and get to know the other students.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study your notes. Every test that is given, is based off of the notes, There are no surprises when it comes to test. Get to class on time because every minute in Mr. Menczer's class counts.
