Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs.Tzavellas is one of the best teachers you will ever have. She cares a lot more about you understanding the material than you just knowing it for the test.

    Course highlights:

This course helped me find my love of science(except chemistry) it wasn't a very easy course but it was fun. We had a lot of labs and projects.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It's a great course but don't take it if you know you don't want to put in the full effort required. It's super easy to slip up and forget to do a mini project.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it is so in depth. Biology is something that you have to learn from the very beginning and minimal details to understand.

    Course highlights:

My favorite unit in this class was Osmoregulation, Immunology, Reproduction and Development. Reproduction and Development especially because of my hopes to become an obgyn.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise that students read their textbook and take notes. Also, if you don't understand something ask question and do further research because their an answer somewhere.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Biology is very fascinating, if you're into the sciences. I personally love the sciences, as I plan on pursing my dream career, becoming a nurse. This class may be enjoyable, but it's a big commitment. You must be willing to spend hours studying, and make sure you understand the material.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoy the labs in this course. Every class we get lectured and take notes on a new chapter, which I don't mind. However, I do like being on my feet, exploring for myself through the labs. They help me understand the material, and make me look at science at a different perspective. Through the labs, I learned how to take a different approach at science, and think outside of the box, like a scientist.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to study a little bit each night for about twenty minutes. This way, you are very familiar with the material, and when the test roll around, you're not cramming the night before. I would also recommend meeting with your teacher if you don't understand a topic. I meet with my teacher every time I don't understand something.
