    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Chemistry is a great course for others interested in science. I went into the course not knowing much about chemistry but ended the year enriched with a new approach towards science and math. I would recommend this course to someone who has time to dedicate towards studying and fully understanding concepts.

    Course highlights:

The labs were great! They really connected the dots for me between the notes and the real life aspects of chemistry

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do ALL the homework, it will really help you in the long run on the exam.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Though the subject can be fun at times, this "science" class involves too much math to be enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

From this course, you can learn the different types of elements, reactions, reactants, and enjoy really cool science labs

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study!!! Learn and memorize the formulas and really brush up on your math skills

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it especially for math geeks. If you love math this is the course for you. I recommend it in general because its fun. Not only do you get to experiment with things that change color, you get to fully understand why things like baking soda, and vinegar cause and explosion.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of knowledge. I didn't know the answers to certain questions like why putting Mentos into a coke bottle would cause an explosion. With chemistry I learned that their are certain reactants in Mentos that cause for the fizz in coke soda to explode.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are aware of any and every test/or quiz. Make sure that once you don't understand you find the teacher immediately. Don't assume that you will learn it later on because you will not. Chemistry is a building up type of course. One topic is learned to help you better understand the next topic.
