Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a painting/ figure drawing class professor I had at a community college i graduated from. he was so passionate and challenging in his curriculum that I owe mush of my success to his teachings and I encourage any aspiring artist in the state of Connecticut to enroll in any of his courses.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned concepts of composition, fundamentals on lights and darks, how to the thoroughly think of ideas before composing a painting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

i would tell students considering this course to take it without hesitation and that you will greatly enjoy and learn something new.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class. Professor Chiang has a fun and easy manner. She takes a large chunk of Art History and presents it to the students that is fun and engaging. Her tests are very fair and helps to prepare you for them.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was the trip to the nearby museum where we could visually see some of the actual art work of the artist and the time period we were studying.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, study the slide list that she provides, if you have any questions, she is readily available to answer the at the end of class or by email. Read the material prior.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Many people including me enjoyed the subject and the instructor was the most enthusiastic and happy instructor in my experience at the college.

    Course highlights:

Learned different art periods and styles.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorize what needs to be memorized and dint not pay attention in class. Maybe take it with a friend so its easier and sit next to them. Many interesting art pieces and powerpoint slides shown, almost all the way through each class. Very nice classroom compared to other classrooms, central location in the college/easy to get to.
