    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She is a great professor. Tests can be tough, but lectures are amazing.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about biology in general. For example, I learned about the cell cycle and DNA replication in depth.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Study. Study. PS. Tests are taken mostly from her lectures.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was very informative but it also was very in-depth. If you are not prepared to do a lot of studying outside the class, I wouldn't suggest. Be aware of your study load in you other classes as well to see if you can handle this one as well.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning all of the different materials I was unaware of before. Also the class was very large, so study groups were easily made and accessible which were fun and successful.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the study sessions and visit the instructors office hours. Also it is helpful to attend EVERY class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor goes into detail of what you need to know and he supplies lecture slides that are easy to follow in class. He makes it fun.

    Course highlights:

Evolution and the beginnings of a species down to the basics of cells. I can translate DNA to RNA sequences and tell you the difference in amino acids come from it's side chains.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always take notes from the lecture slides and, you don't have to but it helps to, read the chapters he assigns. It's pretty straight forward.
