Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it gives you real-world accounts of the field. Professor Perkins was very insightful on giving information about how law enforcement can be. We didn't just go over the history of it, we discussed modern issues facing law enforcement and how it could be bettered.

    Course highlights:

I received a better understanding of how law enforcement works. Perkins was very detailed about her history and experience as a female officer in the field. She didn't sugar coat anything and she allowed students to comprehend why this system is in the situation it is currently in.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always go to class. A lot of times she goes over the exam material beforehand. Most of her exams are based on topics that are discussed in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it teaches you many of the fundamentals of law enforcement especially those pertaining to becoming a police officer.

    Course highlights:

What I learned most about this course were the first responder procedures. Being a first responder is important to any scene and doing the job correctly is of the utmost importance.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook. We often overlook our textbooks but for this course I wouldn't. Without the textbook I probably would have made a C in the class instead of the A I worked for.
