    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is an English course with a twist, it has a pop-culture fixation and the professor, Dreama Pritt, is an absolute Godsend. She makes the material easy to understand and offers plenty of extra credit.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about how the media and Hollywood interpret actual academic strategies into their works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to write! Dreama is a nice teacher but she does not accept incomplete or late work!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Loved this course especially being really into English and with the ethics concentration it didn't hurt going into the medical field. This was a total match and very interesting. Dr. Chavez is also probably one of the coolest Professors at Marshall she has a great world view and is great at connecting the work with the student interest.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about people living with disabilities from birth defects to war veteran injuries and how much their life is impacted in so many more ways than people realize sometimes. I loved the comfortable atmosphere in this classroom not too strict but also nothing close to anarchy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the readings and participate in class. Much like with any course it's a lot easier to get help when the professor knows who you are.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is an excellent course for any one who is interested in English.

    Course highlights:

I learned that taking in other people's views is an important thing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always work on your essays before he asks you to. Research is a must.
