Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it gives students a chance to read different types of literature. The books that are chosen for the class are books that made an impact on society, for example: 1984 by George Orwell. Each book allows the student to take what they want from them and apply it to their own life because in class the discussions we have really have an impact about how you look at things

    Course highlights:

I learned that it is very important that one understands what they are reading in order to take anything away from the books. When authors create their stories, they intend for them to be understood in a certain way and when that can be accomplished, the book seems to come alive in your mind.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If someone where taking this course I would recommend they enjoy reading and that they have the time for it, maybe an hour a night. I would also recommend that they read with a notebook by them so they can write down their own thoughts throughout the book. This is really help for class discussions.
