    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Take AP Psychology, I can't recommend to take it enough. When I signed up for this class I thought it was going to be a lot of "mental health and how your brain works." I could not have been more wrong. Go into this course expecting to learn why people do what they do, how we learn, how we function, how we grow, why we do things differently than everyone else, how the brain functions, how it doesn't, what our limits are, and so much more. This class teaches not only factual information, but so much more. This class teaches empathy, and that is a skill much more valuable than any textbook information.

    Course highlights:

I learned everything I didn't realize there was to know about how the brain functions. I learned about perception, and illusions, and conditioning, and hypnosis, and memory, and the structure of the brain. Don't think you know everything already. This class takes common sense about people and expands it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes. Take notes. Take notes on notes on notes. Do your work in this class and you will be just fine.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is such a fun class. The knowledge you gain in this class stays with you for the rest of your life. It makes you relook at the "why's" of everyday interaction and can help better you as a person. I strongly recommend this class.

    Course highlights:

It lets you dive deep into the reasoning behind everything that happens in life. You get to form your own opinions on why people and our mind behave like they do. It's a very interactive class and really makes you think.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. Seriously, it doesn't matter how much class time you have, the book tells it all and really dives deeper to help in class discussions. Also, participate, this course benefits you to the extreme if you form your own opinions and really show how you comprehend the material.
