Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this course because it might be the first AP course that a high school student will take in their high school career and if it is the first, then it is the most important because it is the foundation of how the student will later excel in college classes in the future. Taking AP world, made me become more aware of my study habits and apply more focus towards it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning material that was based on real events and analyzing those moments in history. In the course, the student has to read several text based documents and come up with essay's based on topics in history. It was interesting to see the comparison of how we live now versus how it used to be.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My biggest advice to students is to toughen up their reading and writing skills before considering taking the course and take every assignment given very seriously. There is plentiful of writing in this AP course and if the student does not give 100 percent of effort into it, then there is no point otherwise. Participation is key!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

i would recommend this course because, the teacher makes the information easy to understand and she shows us every side of history in detail.

    Course highlights:

Being that I'm Africian American, I learned more about the struggle my elders went through in the 1940s-1970s to get my generation the equality we deserve.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do decide to take this course make sure you are very orgainized and is really interested in history

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

World History was a very interesting class to take, and even though the AP course was a good amount of work, you're very prepared for the ap exam at the end of the year and learn a lot about global history that you probably didn't know before.

    Course highlights:

One of the main things that our teacher stressed throughout the course was that all of history is a repeating cycle. It was very interesting to see where the historical patterns began to show up in what we were learning and connect it to patterns that are seen even continuing today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do every study guide as soon as you get it and be thorough. Don't just do them to get the homework grade, actually try to do them well because you learn the material so much better and will hardly even have to study for the exam at the end of the year.
