Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course itself is more about art pieces, rather than the artists themselves. It's very interesting to learn the meaning, for example, behind the infamous Starry Night. The course gives you insight into other cultures, religions, and world movements.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about what defines each art era, such as the Impressionistic period. I also learned a lot about symbolism in art, which can also apply to literature and movies.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Making index cards is the best study tool for this class, since a lot of it is memeorization-based. I would consider taking this class if you like history, literature, or the arts.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because the way the topics and lectures are taught are very fun. The teacher makes sure that the students are engaged in the lesson. The videos and slides that are presented keep the class interesting and entertaining.

    Course highlights:

The highlights have been the many places and ancient art that we normally don't pay attention to. I have discovered a love for the history of art and it discoveries and meanings which I thought i never had. This course has made me want to travel around the world and see for myself all the ancient artifacts we have studied.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, all that needs to be done is to pay attention. Ask as many questions and make sure to connect each work with another, even if the connection isn't too big, it's ok. Studying and taking a lot of notes help very much, as well.
