Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Schrimsher is a fantastic teacher who can help even those who struggle with history pass the end of year AICE exam. She will also help students improve their writing. Though AICE is a challenging path, Mrs. Schrimsher helps take away the stress of AICE exams. She gives out enough assignments to help students remember information without overwhelming them. This is essential for all classes.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the essays. Mrs. Schrimsher taught me how to analyze historical documents and events. This has prepared me for my junior year history class, AP US History. This also has prepared me for my writing classes, as I can now effectively write a five paragraph essay in a short period of time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, it is important to be able to memorize years. This will help the student get an estimated timeline for all events. Therefore, the student can easily compare cause and effect in all essays. It is okay to not know how to write an essay at the beginning of this course. AICE European History will prepare all students for future essay writing.
