    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because first of all it is a required course and it gives high school students an overall idea of how money works and a good idea of what the market is.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning new things about what you can do with money and how money is controlled. I learned how supply and demand works and i learned how the government regulates the money supply.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to be successful in this course you will have to take notes on the daily and always pay attention and not get behind because everything ties together. Also you will have to make graphs your best friend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Macroeconomics is one of the few courses in school that I feel like has prepared me for my transition into adulthood by helping me to understand how business relations work, fair trading relations, etc.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the informative lectures, and Mr. Rains' drive for the success of his students. I learned a lot about the global economy ranging in topics from comparative advantage to aggregate supply/demand.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To students who are considering taking this course, I recommend that you pay attention to the lectures in class, they will make understanding the concepts much easier.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course can be very challenging. Learning about the economy is a lot. The many graphs and terms you have to remember is why its a had class. At Paxon we have to pass this class in order to graduate, so we really don't have a choice if we want to take it or not. I think students should take it because it teaches you about the government and the U.S. economy.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me a lot about business. Owning your own business is a lot of work. Based on the economy there are certain things you can and can not do. If you are majoring in business I highly suggest you take this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take a lot of notes and pay attention in class. Before every test study the graphs and vocab. If you're having a hard time go to tutoring or ask the teacher for more help.
