    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

We do many experiments that get the students interested and active in her chemistry course. She also lets the students lead activities and even lessons. Somethings come easier to learn when you hear it from your peers.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the experiments. I remember at the end of the year we had an ice cream making experiment that I remember vividly. What I remember most is topics on elements. Such as the rising and following of the electronegativity of elements depending on their placement on the periodic table.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take very detailed notes and ask question if any come across that she did not answer during the lesson. Not only study from your notes but also the book to prepare for the test. Always participate and pay attention during labs because it may come back up on test.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this class unless you are a deep thinker and mathematically inclined.

    Course highlights:

From this course I learned a lot about chemicals and how they function on our everyday life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To be successful in this class you should never be absent and do not fall asleep or else you will fall behind.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I just so happen to not like chemistry, but science was required so I figured to take a science with some fun labs.

    Course highlights:

I learned that ice cream can be made with a few simple steps! There was also a s'mores lab that involved extreme heats to golden a marsh-mellow in under one minute.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just keep fighting in school and keep on keeping on. School may be tough sometimes but you just have to keep pushing forward!
