    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Chem 1A is good but Dr. Blake is not a very good professor. For some lectures, he would not be lecturing but be talking about other things. However, the course is not very hard to self-study and self-teach.

    Course highlights:

The quantum mechanics chapter was mind-boggling but was understandable.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read and read and read. Make sure you are understanding what you are reading.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it is not lecture heavy.

    Course highlights:

The exams are pretty straight forward if you understand the material.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attempt the worksheets and attend the discussion courses.
