    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a double unit class, so obviously it will be harder than a regular class. However, if you want to put in the time and effort to substitute two classes for one, this will be the one class to take on.

    Course highlights:

You will have to do numerous readings and two essays within the quarter and your grade will be based heavily off the essays and your midterm and final which will be off of the readings.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to lecture and do the readings on time. Study, review, and preview every day before and after class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a great series for getting all of your GEs out of the way, for Humanities, Writing, Art, etc.

    Course highlights:

In all honestly, the class was a great way for introducing freshmen into the college life. Although it is difficult, and an intensive course for those just coming into the college. I would say that it is worth the amount of work that is put in.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not hold back on the reading. If you are not able to finish the reading, you are for sure to fall behind the class. It is crucial to go to the lectures. Some might be boring, others might be interesting depending on the lecturer. But whatever the circumstance, being in the lecture and understanding what the person is saying is an important and direct way to get a good grade in the class. Note taking is key in this class, only take notes that are crucial, there is no need to copy everything the professor is saying.
