    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class combines the history of war and study of human nature. I found it a lot more interesting than just regular writing classes, and this class offers double the units than other writing courses. This class requires you to attend all lectures and read a lot, but I think what I learned out of it was definitely worth the work.

    Course highlights:

I think the highlight of this course was learning how humans stay relatively the same throughout years of history.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all the books and attend all lectures! It's not THAT hard.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who is trying to pursue an english or philosophic career. While the course I chose is the third course out of 3, the previous courses are just as important. This course can and will help one write stronger and more thorough essays that are A-worthy. Each topic for the three courses varies each year and each term focuses on a specific theme relative to the chosen topic. It is studied and discussed with understandable detail that is easy for the whole class to follow.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was one of the essays we had to write which was focused on literary journalism. It was a chance for me to show my talent at writing stories. I loved the prompt and I aced it!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes on what the professor says and if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask for help. The professors have office hours where you can come in and they will help you.
