Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I 100% recommend this class to anybody who is pursuing a career in science or who wants to be more knowledgeable about the world around us. The readings for this class were all interesting and well chosen, and I learned so much in such a short time.

    Course highlights:

This class brings to light things that you would normally never think of. We take our own culture for granted, and we think of our ways of doing as "normal". We see racial and gendered differences as obvious, but this class blurs the lines between our distinctions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read everything and go to every lecture. Sit in front if you have to. I tried learning from the slides, but it doesn't compare to listening to the professor speak on the topic. Also attend your discussion section for the points, but try to engage as much as you can. Have fun and don't be afraid to share your opinions, even if they are completely contradictory to the readings!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think Jenks is a very smart guy and he really loves the topic...but you can only see it on certain days.

    Course highlights:

In this class, we spent 4 weeks doing Powerpoint presentations and probably 2-3 weeks watching movies.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There was very little instructional time...most of the learning was from the text.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Midterms were easy, final more difficult than expected. Great class.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Jenks is a very informative professor, likes to talk about economics and anything happening out there relating.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Basically straightforward information she teaches, midterms and final were easy.
