    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I definitely recommend this course for incoming biology major students. Even if it is a required class for the major itself, the professors allow consistency and thoroughly explained the material in a well organized manner. The professors provide a friendly environment, especially Professor Wood and Professor Green. The trio professors definitely encourage students to ask questions and want their bio 93 students to succeed.

    Course highlights:

From this class, I gained a lot more knowledge the introduction of biology. My high school did not offer AP Biology and many of my peers that I spoke to said that Bio 93 is similar to AP biology. I definitely believe that this class also solidified my decision that I want to put more of my focus into DNA and organisms. I have always been fascinated in cells and DNA, and with this class, it encouraged me study more regarding those two topics! It is definitely not limited because I have thoughts of wanting to focus in biochemistry.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely ask questions if you need it whether it is going to office hours or asking TAs. Students should also read the textbook before going to class (and also after to test your knowledge).
