Pretty easy, overall.
I took it as a class to fulfill my science credits. I was expecting the class to be boring, but it was actually very interesting. The professor explained the oceans in a way that was interesting, tying it into earthquakes that happen around the globe. She also was very detailed with her lectures, which made taking the tests easier. It was an enjoyable class and I think students in that class are definitely set up for success.
I learned about the way that ocean water circulates around the globe, different types of earthquakes, unique facts about the ocean, and much more. I think it is hard to make a subject like oceanography interesting, but the professor does a good job making the subject relevant. Even though I was not a science major, this class was very interesting.

Advice for students:
Pay attention in class and attend lecture. The professor gives out sample questions for the study guide of what will be on the exam. If you study off of the study guide, you will likely get a decent grade.
