    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because unlike other classes in other colleges this class is a small hands on class room. On top of that, the professor is extremely helpful. She is also one of the helpers in the writing lab. We have a writing lab in the school that helps students with their essays.

    Course highlights:

I've gained the writing ability to write difficult essays. I was once terrible at writing essays but after taking that course I'm confident enough in going in to my next English class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Get help and take advantage of the writing lab.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was fun and was a nice balance between class discussions, lectures, and videos.

    Course highlights:

Watching Harry Potter as well as being given the opportunity to revise essays before they are submitted for a final grade.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your work and hand it in on time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches students many useful tips that can improve effectiveness of their writing.

    Course highlights:

I learned Vonnegut's eight tips some of which include choose a subject you care about, have the guts to cut, and sound like yourself.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Engage in the readings, apply the concepts discussed in your own writing. This course can truly improve one's writing if he/she cares enough to fully understand the tips.
