    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it's very interesting and you get to learn a lot about what kind of cells make up the body and how theories of life on earth started. It's a great intro to biology 122

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot. I learned about the different cycles in the body and in the plants. I learned about how mitosis and meiosis happens and how our genetic make up is created and altered. There's a lot of information that we learned and it's actually very interesting and fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I'd say to read the text book and do the homework. I took online test and quizzes and that definitely helped a lot. It's really just all about studying and understanding the ideas and concepts. One should be able to explain how something works and functions.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course itself is very good but the professor isn't very helpful. You do have to learn a lot of material yourself but if you have a study partner or group, you'll be fine.

    Course highlights:

It's mostly about cells and genetics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to memorize a lot of the definitions and concepts.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The field is simply so diverse and just when you think you have it figured out there is always something new to stimulate your passions. The lessons are quite exciting as they involve group work and creative modes of thought.

    Course highlights:

OK, here's one that really interested me in the first few weeks of it all. Its a process known as natural selection in which, as said by Newton, the weak die and the strong survive. If we were to put this into context, if a disease were to kill the general population of humans, then the ones that are naturally immune would soon reproduce on and breed a new generation of humans with immune systems that could effectively combat the disease. Interesting isn't it?

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Group participation is extremely important, as there are things one would need to collaborate to produce results. No one can do everything on their own.
