Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although I took the course with Ms.Campbell and she no longer works at this highschool I still recommend this course because it definitely has been my favorite history class throughout highschool. The course material looks at history in a differently aspect from how normal history classes teach it. You learn about the military side of wars and battles and really get the feel for the way our country came together. You also receive college credit for this class.

    Course highlights:

My favorite war that I learned about in this class was was the French and Indian war.I also enjoyed learning about military tactics and the leaders who led the military over the years.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Always pay attention to the specific events and make sure you take notes on everything.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would strongly recommend this course because it challenges the way you look at the growth of the United States' military. You get to understand how the U.S went from 13 colonies to the world's leading super power. Along the way you learn the life of a soldier back during significant wars like the Civil War and World War 1.

    Course highlights:

The number one highlight of this course was when we were learning about the growth of government security and how homeland security came about after 9/11 and Ms. Campbell brought in her father who was an actual member of the CIA. It was just amazing to learn what a real life CIA agent does for a living coming from his own words. He also told us how Homeland Security came to life and how 9/11 affected the United States with in the government.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course you have to be involved and make sure you study for the exams. If you participate you get a better understanding of what you need to do to be successful. Ms. Campbell will create a jeopardy like study game that helps for the upcoming exam. If you don't participate you are basically throwing your chances away of succeeding and learning in the class.
