    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although, it is an intense course, it allows us to discover all bacteria that are around us, and ways on how to diminish the probability of spreading infection. All the hard work pays off in the end and you are more aware of the environment around you.

    Course highlights:

Bacteria! Bacterial structures, gram staining techniques, proper handling of bacteria, how to prevent infection and the list goes on.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Repetition of bacterial structures, understanding that there are structures that are hard to get rid of and understanding how different bacteria harm the human body.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is not for the faint of heart, however, it is well worth it. The vast amount of knowledge this course covers will prepare you for many jobs in the medical field. Read the chapters before the lectures and things will go much smoother for you. Asking questions and forming a study group is also highly recommended! Good luck pursuing your dreams!

    Course highlights:

The course is a systematic approach to learning the processes of the human body. So much of the information is retained as it deals with the functions of our everyday existence.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take anatomy before you take this course as it will help you understand the functions that are described. Additionally, take this class before microbiology and micro will be a breeze.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because the instructor teaches thoroughly and post up her lectures online for easy access.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the physiology of the human body and how it maintains homeostasis. I also learned how the sympathetic system and parasympathetic work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and study hard. Don't procrastinate because there is a lot of information to learn.
