Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course started with searching for an writing about your "literacy narrative." Something I had not thought about before, but which made me go back through what I have read and how it had shaped me and how I think, where some character traits come from and why I do some of the things I do. I found this part to be very valuable.

    Course highlights:

In addition to the above I found the portion on reading an article and being able to succinctly analyze it and then make a judgement on its relavance to the point it was making valuable as well. It certainly taught me to make my points with a little embellishment as possible.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You will need to commit to spending the time to reading the material and then thinking about it for awhile before completing the writing assignment. Also, when you do a peer review, be honest even if you have some tough things to say. I found the honest evaluations much better and helpful than those that just said, "good job."
