Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I left this class extremely educated and motivated to continue studying biology.

    Course highlights:

I was pushed to do my best in this class. He did not allow us to slack, but only to do and be our very best. I learned so much about how every living thing on this earth functioned, and it encouraged me to want to study in that field. He always made the learning environment reflect what he was teaching, so it was almost impossible for me not to understand.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advice students to study and apply themselves. Do not try to take the easy way out because it is so much to be gained from this course. Always put your best foot towards regardless of how you feel because it's going to help tremendously in the long run.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Hensley genuinely cares about the success of his students and that they leave his class with more knowledge than they entered with. His tests are tricky but if you ever have questions about anything he discussed in lecture, he's nice about answering them! He doesn't give any type of extra credit, so take each test seriously; one low test grade could cost you an A in the course.

    Course highlights:

Although I felt this course didn't have a lot of information relevant to my major, I learned multiple phylums of organisms I'd never heard of, their life cycles, how research on certain organisms can lead to medical treatments.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take THOROUGH notes, review power points (he gives them to you), ask questions about concepts that aren't clear to you, and have fun! The material can be boring at times, but overall, the course is rewarding.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Stark is an amazing Professor. He is funny and entertaining. If you are stuck having to take this class, take it with him. It is great!

    Course highlights:

Best thing that I learned was that at one point, Monkeys moved from South American to North, about 175 Million years ago.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, always study. Even if you think you have studied enough, study more. You will never be too prepared.
