    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is extremely difficult. I was a strait A student before taking this class, I had a 4.0 GPA and wonderful grades. That is until I took Chemistry. I ended up doing terribly in that class, though I always ended up having an average of 87 for nine weeks. It was difficult and hard to study for.

    Course highlights:

I was able to memorize part of the periodic table. I also learned that I will often cry over failed assignments.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you have a good teacher for this class or you will fail horribly. Also study every chance you get.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course gives insight into our world and how we interact with our world. Environmental science is a subject I am very passionate about. Humans affect the world in many ways and in minute ways that we don't even think about.

    Course highlights:

I learned firstly, that there is a lot of memorization in this course. I had to study more than any other class I have ever taken. The highlights to this class was the small class size and the enthusiasm of my instructor. The small class size made the class flow really well because everyone wanted to be there. This was an AP course so the other students were just as motivated as myself to do well in that class. The teachers enthusiasm helped me realize that this was a subject I was passionate about. I learned so much information that made me more aware of my actions. For instance, I learned that the beads in face wash can be made from plastic. When the beads go into the drain, it goes into a local waterway and the plastic releases harmful toxins into the water. I also learned that the environment takes care of us as long as we take care of it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, one must have good study habits and an interest in the environment. If a student plans to do well in this course, they must yearn to learn about many different topics and need to enjoy learning about daily life habits and how they affect others. If a student is considering this course, I can tell them to take notes, many notes, and to always ask questions.
