    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. McCoy is a terrible teacher. I love history and this class nearly made me hate it.

    Course highlights:

I learned in this class that you had better be over prepared for his tests. He was very elusive.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this class from Mr. McCoy. His answer for everything will be "look at the syllabus."

I learned how to connect all the dots, so to speak, to make history connect together.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

take notes and you'll be fine. he is good at clarifying what he means if you ask.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I found this course to be very fun and informative with just the right amount of challenge to make it interesting. I really enjoyed how instead of writing a term pamper we made a blog, and before our midterms or finals the professor would post a study guide with all of the possible questions for the test on it.

    Course highlights:

For me the highlights of this course were the lectures. We were learning about US history up to and thru 1877. I liked that when ever we had lectures it was more like a story being told to you. The professor was also very funny and made the class enjoyable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When taking this course make sure to check your Black Board account weekly for the next discussion post and quiz. You do not want to miss to many of them because you cannot make them up after the due date. You also want to make sure that you follow the study guide when prepping for a midterm or final because it will save your life if you are scared about the test.
