Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not necessarily an easy class, but there isn't a lot of work to do. It's a very interesting class with lots of conspiracy theories that have evidence that they might be true. Gives a different outlook on the world.

    Course highlights:

You learn the history of the world. You learn about the artwork that has been created and their possible meanings behind it. You learn things that the textbook would not teach you.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Find a partner or a group to help you during the course. You will need a group to be able to complete the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a very interactive class. It forces students to use sociology in the classroom. It has interactive online teaching as well. Easy to find the answers in the material. The class must be interactive in order to not only get a good grade, but a good understanding of what sociology is.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights of this course was being able to learn sociology not only from the teacher, but from movies, clips, and the other students. Sociology is a wide subject, so having different aspects of it come from different sources is interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy the online material. It may be a tad expensive but it pays off in the end. Many classes require a textbook and hardly ever use it, not this class. It is a fun class to take. You have moments where you discover something that surprises you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Mckoon was one of the greatest teachers I have ever taken at MJC. She challenges the way you think for the better and teaches you how to put what you think is true aside to be able to understand the world and other people better.

    Course highlights:

The one thing in particular that I learned about in the class that I was intrigued by was the inequality of classes and how difficult it to more between them even though we have always been taught it was as easy as long has you worked hard at it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking this class make sure to write down everything from the slides that she provides in class only. If you have the time read the chapter before class that way when you attend class it is easy for you to follow along.
