    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course before it is great preparation for all the reading that will be required in history classes in college! Also, if you do well on the AP Lit exam, you can bypass Comp 1 and Comp 2

    Course highlights:

The biggest highlight for me was that fact that our reading material is all non-fiction. You can be creative in your interpretations of the text, and be entertained by the story it tells. I learned how to think more objectively, the way an AP test maker would think, and this is preparing me the materials I will have to read and answer questions on in college. I also learned how to write essays like a college student should.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you like to read, you better learn to love it, because there is a lot of it in this class! Be prepared to push your brain capacity to its limits, and you will be very successful.

    Course Overview:

It pushes you to be work harder and helps you better understand English and all it has to offer.

    Course highlights:

We learned how to better write and to better understand literature.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

It is an amazing opportunity, I would highly recommend this course.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was tedious and boring. I felt I hadn't learned anyhing the entire year and when it finally came down to the exam, I was stumped. I did not get the credit for a course I did not enjoy.

    Course highlights:

I learned that teachers apparently do not think "they/them" is gender neutral and that it is forbidden in essays.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you find out how to succeed in this class, please enlighten me.
