Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course. Mrs. Saxon has a form of teaching I wish more teachers would incorporate into their classes. Math has never been fun for me, nor easy. In Math 35 there were several ways explained to solve the same problem. She is a great Professor who understands that everyone learns differently, has the patience and takes the time to explain.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the homework that prepared us for the quizzes online. I learned multiple ways to incorporate steps when solving a problem. Most importantly as a student that has always struggled in math and has extreme test anxiety I learned to focus and relax. If you take the homework seriously and pay attention in class you will do well on all the quizzes and tests. You earn what you work for in this class and her approach to teaching you will understand.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into this class with a positive attitude. Everything you knew about Math before that you feared I can reassure you it is no longer going to be like a foreign language class. Take good notes, be on time, pay attention to the extra credit questions you may see them on the tests!
