    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for multiple reasons. Primarily, it is a challenge. You will be put in situations and tested in ways that thoroughly prepare you for college. Additionally, the teacher is passionate about the subject, making the subject both easier to comprehend and more enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

In taking this course I gained knowledge on both the subject being taught and the structure of college courses. In regards to the subject, I feel as though I learned more about the figures of United States history than anything. I felt as though I knew the important individuals I was learning about, making their stories and accomplishments easier for me to remember. Structurally, I learned that, in a college class, what you learn and your grade is completely up to you. You are given the information and expected to learn it, quickly.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important advice I could give to a student considering this course is to make sure you have a solid study plan for large amount of material or are prepared to develop one. The time of study guides is over. For this class and future one, you must be able to grasp key points while pinpointing crucial information hidden within detail. This process is not hard. You just need to develop a study plan that works for you.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher was amazing and brilliant, he put each lesson and part of history into perspective in modern times so you would understand it better. His skits and plays he would make us do were always fun and made you, think how this person felt taking land from this person or the murder of abraham lincoln, with a dramatic skit, and how it all played out.

    Course highlights:

Highlights were learning the small details about people in US History and how they played a role in the big advances that happened in the US. The interesting parts, were the gorey details of war and what happen in some places and weird facts about people, that we would normally not know.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the book you get which is the AP US History book, or the book with the flag, and pay attention to details and dates.
