    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Mrs. Burnette is a teacher who is willing to work with her students when it comes to deadlines and tests. She knows what she's doing and always willing to help with the work she assigns if her students don't understand at first.

    Course highlights:

Studying the Count of Monte Cristo was definitely my favorite thing we did all year. However, I also enjoyed when we studied the hero's journey because we watched the Star Wars Trilogy and some Disney movies.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you go into Mrs. Burnette's classroom with a positive attitude and are prepared (for the most part) for class, you won't have any problems.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to someone who enjoys writing or wants to start writing. The best thing about this class is that you work at your own pace, but that can be bad for others.

    Course highlights:

What I've gained from taking this course is the knowledge of what it takes to be a dedicated writer. The highlight of this course would be when it's time to listen to someone share something they wrote. During this time, you should pay attention to the language and detail that the writer uses because it can tell you who that person really is.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Just relax. Take it easy. This class is not meant to stress you out unless you make it that way. The best thing is to do the work when it's given and don't procrastinate and wait until the last minute.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Close is an excellent teacher. She makes learning fun and gets to know her students.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to truly appreciate literature and the importance of reading a variety of authors.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the reading! If you get behind it is very difficult to catch up and participate in the discussions in class.
