Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is reading-intensive. The lessons contain useful summaries of the material, but eText links are provided so that you read on your own. Each lesson has between 3-7 chapters to read.

    Course highlights:

All of the material is interesting and the reading isn't too dense. There are only a few key points to take notes of in each chapter. The course covers topics in evolution, ecology, genetics, metabolism, photosynthesis, plant and animal transport, and cell structures and functions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read. Having some prior knowledge, like from a regular or honors biology course, will be helpful. Condense each chapter into a few key points and screenshot an image or two from each chapter that encapsulates most of the relevant information.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is extremely difficult, but I think it is the best possible course to prepare you for college which an AP course should do.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are that the majority of the quizzes that you take are AP free response questions which means that when you take the AP exam you will be well prepared for those types of questions.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you are not one to read the textbook and take notes, this is not the class for you. If you do not read the book you will most likely fail the class because you must be able to have an in-depth conversation with your instructor over every single topic that is in your course.
