Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is an unusual course that really opened my eyes to the rest of the world and really teaches you things that you didn't think you should know but it makes you a better person by being more educated on real-world things.

    Course highlights:

I gained an immeasurable amount of knowledge from this course, from how to tell how developed a country is based on the demographic transition model, to the epidemic of child brides in less developed countries, to the children in sweatshops that work 18 hour days to make your shoes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

One thing that you need to do to do well in any honors or AP course is study. Many students believe that an AP course is like a regular course and you can approach like a regular course. AP courses are very hard and require consistent effort and attention. Study all year long for your AP exams rather than the few weeks leading up to it. Study for the test all week and not just the night before. Also, read the assigned materials and do the assignments. These are meant to help you and it is essential to do these things if you want to pass the course and the exam.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It wasn't too difficult of a course and it helped my GPA :)

    Course highlights:

It was a really interesting subject to learn about because I feel like school will often focus on history rather than geography.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read the lessons and take notes. The tests can have some pretty specific information from the lessons.

I would recommended this to anyone who like someone learning where and why people live in certain places.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you follow the pace chart to stay on track.
