Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class, because it teaches you a lot about forensics and shows you what it can be like to become a forensic scientist. The class also allows you access to the forensic science club, which you can take field trips to labs and reconstruct crime scenes if you join the club. The course load may seem like too much, but it is well worth it.

    Course highlights:

In the class we did a fingerprint lab, which was one of my favorites. We also did a blood splatter lab, which was fun. I learned how blood can be projected from different angles of entry from stab wounds, gun shot wounds, etcetera.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to make sure to complete all of your case files and study the material. Don't let yourself think the class will be an "easy A."

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

i would recommend this to students that would want to be in the forensic science career because some of the things you learn in here, is sometimes hard to stand looking at or watching. This course is an fun and exciting way to learn about forensic science. How they do their jobs and how they solve crimes.

    Course highlights:

I learned that it is not easy to become an medical examiner. There is a lot to learn about the body and how it works, trying to figure what killed the victim and why.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would have to say: I hope you have to stomach for it because the smell is something you can't even a imagine, or, Be ready for anything because you never know when you will see a little child or baby on the table.

This class is honestly one of the best classes I have taken at Matanzas. It's a very hands on and motivating class, The best part is Mrs. Barton who completely loves her students and always looks out for their best interests.

I learned so many forensics terminologies and got to practice with a real forensics scene.
