Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

PCC will open your eyes to all the possible paths you can take after high school.

    Course highlights:

In this class you will learn more about yourself and what careers fit your personality type. Once you have chosen the top 3 careers you are interested in, you will discover all the things you are able to do now as a high school student, in order to get closer to your goal. This course is not one the promotes college or promotes military service. The teachers are there to help you discover all of your options and are not going to hide anything from you. For example if you want to flip burgers at McDonald's for your career, the teachers will show you your wages, what you can afford, and what kind of lifestyle you will live with this career. The teachers are not bias, but they will tell you what is realistic. Going back to the McDonald's example, if that same person wants to own a mustang and live in a $300,000 house; the teacher is going to explain how that is just not how it works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is what you make of it. There is a lot of work and if you do not complete it, you will not benefit nor will you have fun in this class. Do not be afraid to ask questions or change your mind as you begin to discover yourself, your wants, and your needs.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was extremely boring and a complete waste of time to take during freshman year because I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life yet. Also Mrs. Brown is super strict and mean.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and that I needed to start figuring it out.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you spell everything right and memorize vocabulary definitions word-for-word, or else you will fail all the tests.
